The brief
This historic marine park on Florida’s Emerald Coast is a seaside sanctuary for young families of four. The layout celebrates the Gulf’s rich natural character, enhancing its coastal heritage with thoughtful, modern updates for wildlife and guests alike.
Highlights include the Dolphin Oasis, a sprawling new lagoon (our favorite habitat to date!), immersive animal encounter programs layered with educational warmth, and the C.A.R.E. Center where families can witness sea turtle rehabilitation firsthand. The park’s upper decks house enchanting viewpoints over the Gulf of Mexico, providing the perfect backdrop for a day of discovery.
Scope of Work
Complete design concept, interactive habitat maps, and custom life-support system plans. Specialized marine equipment and sustainable material sourcing. The recent expansion, including the Dolphin Oasis, was completed by Garrison Design Office in collaboration with Gulfarium’s expert animal care teams and trusted construction partners.
